The City of Angels experienced widespread festivities after the Dodgers won a nail-biting seven-match World Series title. Fans across the globe united with local residents in jubilation, marking the initial time in 25 years that a team has achieved consecutive championships.
Celebration Parade Attracts Massive Crowds
Local celebrations featured a downtown parade on the morning of the parade, a ticketed rally at Dodger Stadium, and impromptu gatherings across the city.
Social media videos show thousands of Angelenos flooding city center avenues, many carrying homemade signs and Dodger flags. The team was seen traveling proudly on a double-decker bus through the masses, raising the championship trophy high.
“My focus is already about the next championship we’re going to achieve this,” the star player remarked through an interpreter.
The procession path concluded at the stadium, where the team walked out to the rapper’s “Not Like Us,” with DJ Mustard spinning music and Ice Cube cruising a Pacific blue classic car around the stadium’s outfield.

“It seems it’s almost double from last year,” Freeman remarked. “The supporters are incredible. It’s truly amazing to be a involved in this.”
